Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has been awarded a five-year ground handling contract by easyJet for its operations at Edinburgh Airport.
Commencing November 1, 2018, WFS will provide passenger and baggage handling services as well as ramp handling for 13,000 easyJet flights a year. EasyJet is the largest airline in Edinburgh and flies four million passengers a year from the Scottish capital to destinations across its European network including London, the Canary Islands, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.

EasyJet flies on more of Europe’s most popular routes than any other airline and carries over 83 million passengers annually. The airline operates a fleet of 308 aircraft on more than 1,000 routes to 154 airports across 33 countries. More than 300 million Europeans live within one hour’s drive of an easyJet airport.
