CHINA EASTERN THANKS WFS PASSENGER TEAM FOR CHICAGO’S ‘EXCELLENT STATION’ AWARD

China Eastern Airlines’ management at Chicago O’Hare have acknowledged the support of Worldwide Flight Services’ (WFS) passenger agents at the airport after being awarded the airline’s ‘Excellent Station 2017 Award’.

The award was announced as Station Managers from China Eastern’s global network gathered in Shanghai for the airline’s Annual Station Meeting. The award is based on an assessment of all stations in Asia, North America and Australia where the airline operates.

In a letter to WFS, Gavin Yuan, China Eastern Airlines’ Station Manager in Chicago, stated: “I am deeply honored for our station to receive this award. As we reflect on this past year, China Eastern Airlines would like to express how thankful we are towards all the WFS Agents who work alongside us. Each and every Agent played an important role through hard work and dedication. My role as a Station Manager at Chicago O’Hare would not be possible without this strong and reliable workforce to assist China Eastern Airlines flight operation.”

Tricia Casalinho, Senior Vice President Ground Handling at WFS, said: “We are extremely proud of our passenger services team in Chicago for helping China Eastern’s local team to win this award. We also greatly appreciate the fact that the airline wishes to share its success with us, which reflects the respect between our two companies and the close working relationship we enjoy.”
