At WFS, the safety and security of our people, our customers and their assets, is our number one priority. We put significant investment behind this commitment, with industry leading security and safety technologies, world class training and robust assurance regimes. Our ‘Best in class’ safety and security programmes go above and beyond regulatory requirements, and we comprehensively manage incidents, compliance, hazards and risk through Pulse, our cloud-based, centralised data platform.
WFS promotes a Just Culture where free and open reporting of safety and security incidents and near misses is actively encouraged. All employees are treated fairly, and wilful violations, gross negligence and reckless behaviour are not tolerated.
Safety and security at WFS are led by the Global Head of Safety & Security, supported by regional teams with extensive experience in safety and security within both ground handling and cargo operations.
This team is constantly monitoring industry developments to ensure that we adapt our workforce and infrastructure to manage any risks and threats, especially in the event of a crisis.
